We absolutely LOVE preserving food! Why not? It can save lots of money down the road utilizing a harvest and preserving for future meals. It was originally the abundance of fresh falling fruit that routinely went wasted rotting on the ground that started my interested in canning. I started collecting those fresh fruits and turning them into gorgeous jars of jam, jelly, marmalade and applesauce!
